Friends & Family Tributes

❤️ You were the matriarch of the Dixon’s Family. You were kind, stern, and outgoing and we had an amicable and respectful relationship. I am sorry that for the last few years, your bouts with dementia has robbed and distorted your personality, memories and behaviors. However, I would like to thank you for the times that we had. Even the bad times, because with the bad times we know our strength, failures and faults and can grow and learn from them. You were blessed with two beautiful sons, one of which is my husband. I thank you for him. His strength, kindness, independence and strong will are reflections and influences of his upbringing, and I will continue support and comfort him throughout the sorrowful times. Your struggles has ended, and now it is time to rest. So rest well in the loving arms of our creator and your family.

❤️ My grandmother was a vivacious woman. She was a woman who feared nothing. She was generous, loving, and always accepted people from all walks of life into her heart with open arms. She helped instilled this trait into my siblings and I. She knew that everyone deserved love and compassion in this world. Although it pains me to have to write this message, I have found a sense of peace knowing that the love that my grandmother has exuded will continue to live on through us— each one of us whose lives she’s affected. Grandma, I thank you for the unforgettable lessons, memories, and laughs that we have shared. Your warmth and light will continue to illuminate our paths in the times of uncertainty. I will forever love you. Until we meet again.
Your ‘sugarpuss’ , Andrea

❤️ Miss Dixon, you are sadly missed. You have gone on before us. I could remember those wonderful times we use to have when I visited you and husband in Florida. We ate, we drank, we talked and shared a lot of memories and laughter. So travel on my dear on your journey until we meet again rest and be at peace.
