❤️ I met Joyce in 2004 when I first attended FBC Lantana. I was immediately drawn to her because reminded me of my grandmother, elegant, petite, and beautiful smile. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and a very true friend for 18 years with a gentle and caring nature. Family and friends meant a lot to her so over the years I got to know the names of her family and friends from the many conversations we had. Always "Poko, Poko" but still fighting. My friend you will be missed, walk good!

❤️ When I first came to First Baptist Church Lantana, Joyce and Ken were already there. They immediately made me feel welcome and loved. Joyce was one-of-a kind lady, first class all the way. She was so kind to everyone. It was my privilege to visit in her home both while Ken was with us and after his passing. I can positively say every time I visited her, I came away with the blessing. She was that sort of loving Christian lady. It was my honor to call her friend.

❤️ Ms. Joyce was an inspiring soul, who helped and was always there for friends and family. Her home was open to everyone, and her hospitality made them feel important. I will always remember her famous carrot cakes and sweet and sour chicken she made for Sunday dinner. She was a loving, humble, compassionate and understanding step mother who saw the beauty in everything in life. You will always be in my heart.

❤️ Miss Joyce, a lady of class and poise. I always enjoyed visiting her and my Grand-Dad and thoroughly loved when they came to visit us in Canada, even as a kid. Boy can she cook! She taught me how to make 'bake' and I still make it to this day, mainly for those special occasions. She was so well loved and will always be remembered.
