Obituary
Martha Harper was born in Waynesboro, Georgia, on March 8, 1939, to the late Frank and Rosa Bostic. She later moved to Pahokee, Florida, before eventually settling in West Palm Beach.
For many years, Martha worked as a housekeeper throughout the Palm Beach County area. She accepted Christ and became a dedicated member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where she found great joy serving in the choir.
In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, shopping, and playing card games. Above all, she cherished time with her family and always made herself available to them, especially her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her daughters, Karen Harper and Pamela Stevenson; her son, Arthur Harper Jr.; her brothers, Jimmy Bostic, Phillip Bostic, and Luther Williams; her sister, Hattie Wright; her grandsons, Aaren Paul Stevenson and Demetrius Pierce; and her longtime companion, Aaron Stevenson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughters: Margaret Dukeworth (Herman), Sharron Bostic McKinney (Sammie), Rosella Harper, and Alice Stevenson (Kenny). She is also survived by her sisters, Rosa Jones of Ft. Lauderdale and Louise Anderson of Riviera Beach; her brother, Albert Bostic (Katie) of Belle Glade; and her grandchildren: Benji Young, Corey (Jinny) Harper, Damium Stevenson, George (Wendy) Bostic, Sabrina, Alexis, Arterria, Arketha Harper, Derrica Stevenson (Kelvin) Black, Sandra Young, Carla Goodrich, and Carmen Brown. She also leaves behind 27 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends.
