Maurice Sanford Middleton
Sunrise March 30, 1966 – Sunset February 7, 2026

Maurice was the baby of the family born to Herbert Middleton Sr. and Della Middleton in Savannah, Georgia. Maurice was educated through the public school system of Chatham County graduating from Richard Arnold High School, Class of 1985. Maurice was known in school as an Excellent Oratorical speaker. Maurice was employed by Lance Company, he was known as the Insurance man because he sold Insurance, while working evenings with his father to establish a cleaning company named “M&M Cleaning Services.” Later Maurice became an independent contractor (the Bread Man) delivering bread to stores throughout Chatham County. Upon the Profession of his faith, Maurice was baptized at Garvin Temple Baptist by Rev. LB Free. During his adolescent life Maurice answered the call the Preach the Gospel. He Pastored Joy House Ministry of Savannah Georgia for many years. Maurice relocated to West Palm Beach in 2021 where he thrived with improved health, walking from two to three miles daily. On his walk he met Pastor Ernie and united in faith with The Neighborhood Worship Center.
Maurice is survived by three daughters Martina Allen, Diamond Bigby, Marquesha Middleton and one granddaughter Talia Bigby. His siblings Beverly Gilbert (Chester) of Bloomingdale, Ga, Geneva Jackson (Dennis) of West Palm Beach, FL, LaQuanda Middleton of Savannah, Ga. Herbert Middleton Jr (Deborah) of Panama City, FL, Tyrone Middleton Sr. (Eleanor) of Savannah Ga and Kwame Middleton of Steinbach, Canda. Aunts Lucille Heyward of Pooler, Ga, Betty Budin of South Carolina and Lilly Middleton of Savannah, Georgia. Uncles Carl Middleton Sr. of Savannah, Ga and Samuel Johnson (Clemmett) of Savannah, Georgia a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
