Terrence “Terry” Rowe
April 22, 1968 – June 25, 2026

Terry Rowe passed away on June 25, 2026. He was a husband, father, friend, and co-worker
who will be remembered for his humor, work ethic, and willingness to lend a helping hand
whenever someone needed it, day or night.
Terry was born in New York on April 22, 1968, and was adopted and raised by Arthur and
Beatrice Rowe. His early jobs taught him the value of hard work and gave him a chance to learn
many different skills, including welding, roofing, plumbing, and farm work. Those experiences
fed his curiosity and helped shape the well-rounded knowledge he carried throughout his life.
After earning his GED, Terry developed an interest in computers that became his career. He
moved to Florida in 1997 and worked for the City of Boynton Beach in Information Technology
for 29 years. He used his interest in information technology and developed them into new roles
in systems and network administration. He was known as someone who could solve problems,
learn new systems, and help others understand technology.
While working for the city Terry met the love of his life, Diena. They bought their first home in
2001, married in February 2004, had Kaitlyn in August 2004 and Christopher in May 2006. His
family was the center of his life. His family continues to reside in their home in Lantana, Florida.
Outside of work, Terry had many interests. He enjoyed science fiction, music, movies, television,
anime, computers, photography, amateur radio, architecture, nature, wildlife, and animals. He
especially liked wolves and dragons, often showing those interests through art, posters, and T-
shirts. He was also known for his signature sun hat, which he wore pretty much everywhere he
went.
Terry was someone people could count on. He listened, gave advice when asked, and
supported the people around him. His family remembers him as a patient teacher and someone
who was always there for them.
Terry is survived by his wife, Diena; his daughter, Kaitlyn; and his son, Christopher. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Beatrice Rowe.
