Obituary
Vina Amanda Wright , age 93 went to be with the lord on September 25, 2024. Her parents are Horace and Louisa Wright. Vina was born on May 11, 1931, in Craighead Manchester , Jamaica West indies. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. One of her greatest joys was helping others, raising her kids and grandchildren encouraging them to succeed in life, Vina was woman of faith and was heavily involved in the church. She was militant, strong, stern, and instilled Christian values in her children, grandchildren, and great grands. One of her favorite scriptures was Psalm 23. She was a phenomenal woman; her tongue was sharp as a razor, but she had a heart of gold and was loved dearly by her community wherever she goes. She loved her family immensely and would go over and beyond, she was the glue to the puzzle. If it takes a village to raise a child, then she was the village.
Vina was survived by her children: Hazel Spence, Nigel Hutchinson, Kelvin Hutchinson, Noel Chin, Douglas Hutchinson, Dennis Hutchinson, Courtney Hutchinson, and Maxene Hutchinson. 14 Grandchildren: Tricia Bailey, Yannique Hutchinson, Jhanille Hutchinson, Johnathon B Hutchinson, Johnathon C Hutchinson, Daniel Hutchinson, Rachel Hutchinson, Abigail Hutchinson, Tiffany Hutchinson, Joshua Hutchinson , Douglas Javier Hutchinson, Jr, Arnold Hutchinson, Chaynae Frith, and Yohmo Hutchinson , 4 great grandchildren: Jr Bailey, Nathan Bailey, Jordan Labby Jr, Jhazelle Labby, Xochitl Hutchinson,1 sister, great number of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces, and grandnephews. To those not mentioned she loved just as much. She will be missed tremendously.
